CanineConnect is a two-sided marketplace that connects dog owners with professional trainers, plus a free toolkit to help you train on your own.

Here's how it works:

• Greta AI gives you instant, personalized training advice for free — just describe what your dog is doing and she'll walk you through it.
• Knowledge Vault is a free library of step-by-step training guides covering barking, reactivity, housebreaking, jumping, and more.
• Marketplace lets you browse certified trainers, see their specialties and pricing, and book a session directly through the platform.
• Daily Tasks keep your training consistent — short, structured exercises tied to your dog's specific goals.

You can start entirely for free and bring in a trainer whenever you're ready for more personalized help.

Quite a lot. Creating an account is free, and these features are included at no cost:

• Greta AI — unlimited AI training advice, behavior explanations, and trainer recommendations
• Knowledge Vault — full access to 15+ step-by-step training guides (log in to unlock the complete content)
• Daily Training Tasks — structured daily exercises tailored to your dog's goals
• Training Streaks — consistency tracking to keep you on schedule
• Trainer Browsing — search and view all trainer profiles, specialties, and pricing before booking
• Messaging — direct messages with trainers you've booked

You only pay when you book a training session with a professional trainer. The trainer sets their own prices — CanineConnect doesn't charge owners any platform fees.

Go to the Marketplace and browse trainers by specialty (e.g., Aggression & Reactivity, Puppy Training, Anxiety & Fear), location, or price range.

On each trainer's profile you'll find:

• Bio, certifications, and years of experience
• Specialties and training methods
• Service tiers with pricing (e.g., Video Review, 30-Day Program)
• Training demo videos
• Ratings and reviews

When you're ready, click Book Now on any service tier. You'll be asked to select which of your dogs the session is for, then you'll check out securely through Stripe. After payment, the trainer is notified immediately and your session begins.

Payments are handled securely by Stripe, the same payment processor used by Airbnb, Shopify, and Amazon. Your card details never touch our servers — they go directly to Stripe's encrypted system.

When you complete a booking:

• You're charged the trainer's listed price at checkout
• You'll receive a booking confirmation by email
• The trainer is notified and your session is confirmed

As an owner, you pay exactly the listed price — no additional platform fees. The small 5% platform fee is paid by the trainer, not you.

The 5% Success Fee is paid by the trainer, not by you. As an owner, you pay the trainer's listed price — that's it.

The fee covers the cost of running the platform: payment processing, hosting, AI infrastructure (Greta), and ongoing development. Think of it as the trainer's cost to acquire a client through CanineConnect rather than through ads or word-of-mouth.

Trainers who join early get their first 60 days completely free (0% fee) as a thank-you for helping build the platform.

Consistent, short training sessions are more effective than occasional long ones. Daily tasks help you build that consistency.

Each day you'll see a small set of training exercises tailored to your dog's goals (e.g., "5-minute sit-stay practice," "Threshold threshold walk with treats"). Check off each task as you complete it.

Your streak counter tracks consecutive days of completed training. Streaks are a simple way to stay accountable and build the habit — most owners who stick with a 7-day streak see measurable progress in their dog's behavior.

Daily tasks are free and available to all logged-in owners.

From your account dashboard you can:

• Add, edit, or remove dog profiles (name, breed, age, behavioral notes)
• View your booking history and active training pairings
• Message trainers you're working with
• Track daily tasks and streaks per dog
• Update your email or display name

You can have multiple dogs under a single account. Each booking is associated with a specific dog, so trainers always know exactly which dog they're working with.

To delete your account or request a data export, email support@canineconnect.polsia.app.

Go to the Trainer Portal and create an account. You'll build your profile with:

• Display name, bio, and profile photo
• Location (city/state)
• Specialties (up to several from our category list)
• Certifications and years of experience
• Training demo videos (paste Unlisted YouTube links)
• Service tiers with your own pricing

Once your profile is set up, you appear in the Marketplace and owners can book you directly. There's no application review period — you're live immediately.

Early adopters who join now get 0% platform fees for their first 60 days.

From your Trainer Portal, go to the Service Tiers section. You can create up to 5 tiers, each with:

• A name (e.g., "Video Review," "30-Day Behavior Program," "1-on-1 Session")
• A description of what's included
• Your price (you set it)

You're in full control of your pricing. Owners see all your tiers on your Marketplace profile and can book whichever fits their needs and budget.

You can update, add, or remove tiers at any time from your portal. Changes are reflected in the Marketplace immediately.

The Standard plan uses a 5% Success Fee — you only pay when you earn. No upfront cost, no monthly fee.

For example, if you charge $100 for a session:

• The owner pays $100
• CanineConnect deducts $5 (5%)
• You receive $95

The fee is calculated automatically at checkout and deducted before your payout. There's nothing to calculate or pay manually.

Pro trainers can switch to a 3% Success Fee or a $19/month flat fee (with 0% success fees) depending on their volume. See the For Trainers page for a full comparison.

Trainers who join CanineConnect early get their first 60 days completely free — 0% platform fee on every booking during that period.

This is our way of saying thank you to the trainers who help build the platform from the ground up. Every booking you take in those 60 days, you keep 100%.

After 60 days, the standard 5% fee applies automatically. No action needed on your part.

Here's the complete flow from booking to payout:

1. Owner browses your profile and selects a service tier
2. Owner pays at checkout via Stripe (secure, encrypted)
3. You're notified immediately — the booking appears in your Trainer Portal under My Clients
4. You deliver the service (video review, session, program, etc.)
5. CanineConnect processes your payout minus the platform fee

Your earnings are tracked in real time in the Trainer Portal dashboard (total earned, this month, pending). Payouts go through Stripe — you'll need to set up a Stripe payout account once to receive payments.

Your Trainer Portal is your hub for everything client-related:

• Client List — see all owners you're working with, filterable by status and dog. Each card shows the dog's breed, age, and training notes.
• Training Pairings — view your active dog-trainer pairs and session history
• Video Feedback — owners can upload training videos for you to review. You add timestamped comments directly on the video (click to seek to any moment). Owners see your feedback in real time.
• Messaging — direct message any client from within the portal

Standard plan trainers can work with up to 3 active clients at a time. Pro trainers have unlimited clients. If you're at capacity, new bookings are blocked until you have an opening.

Yes. The Pro tier already includes expanded content publishing capabilities — Pro trainers can publish unlimited Expert Guides to the Knowledge Vault (Standard trainers are capped at 5).

Expert Guides are step-by-step training articles attributed directly to you with your photo, name, specialties, and a "Hire Me" link. They're discoverable by all owners browsing the Knowledge Vault — it's built-in organic marketing for your practice.

Greta is CanineConnect's AI training expert, available for free to all users. She's trained on the Knowledge Vault library and general canine behavior science.

You can ask Greta anything about your dog's behavior — barking, pulling on leash, jumping, aggression, separation anxiety, housebreaking, and more. She'll give you a clear, actionable training protocol tailored to your situation.

When your dog's issue benefits from professional support, Greta will suggest relevant trainers from the Marketplace with the right specialty for your problem.

Visitors can preview the first three steps of any guide. Create a free account to unlock the complete content for every guide.

We take data privacy seriously:

• No data selling — we never sell your personal data to third parties
• No behavioral advertising — your usage data is never used for ads
• Payment security — all payments go through Stripe; your card details never touch our servers
• Video privacy — training videos are hosted as Unlisted on YouTube, visible only to you and your trainer
• CCPA/GDPR rights — you can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time
• Hashed analytics — usage analytics use SHA-256 hashed IPs — not reversible to raw IP addresses
